Background
I am married with four grown up children who, along with my wife and
myself, are all professional musicians. I have been a music and history
teacher in Victoria for 35 years including eight years as Director of
Music at one of Melbourne’s best known secondary school music programs
in the eastern suburbs.
I am a member of the Saxton’s Speaker’s Bureau and have worked in
every state of Australia and also overseas as a stand-up or roving
entertainer for many corporate functions, dinners and business functions
using magic and comedy in most presentations. I have been fortunate to
perform in Brunei for the birthday of the daughter of the Sultan of
Brunei and to tour Australia with Rolf Harris giving business
presentations for a well - known paint company. I was also the resident
magician at the Stamford Hotel in Melbourne for three years.
Marriage Celebrant
I am now a full time Marriage Celebrant. I enjoy
the interaction that I have with people of all ages, races, beliefs and
religions. I consider it not only a privilege to be involved in what is
surely one of the most memorable days in anyone’s life, but also an
honour.
I look forward to every new marriage ceremony with excitement because
there are no two weddings that are ever exactly the same. Every marriage
ceremony is different because people are different. It is my aim to
provide you with the type of ceremony that you want. It is your special
day, and your ceremony should reflect your personalities, wants and
wishes. Together we work as a team to create a ceremony that is not only
memorable but totally unique for everyone involved – the bridal couple,
family and guests.
I am fairly relaxed and easy going in my approach to the ceremony and
I enjoy the lighter moments that occur during the ceremony as well as
the more formal moments. I aim to create and deliver a comfortable,
relaxed and dignified ceremony that both you and your guests will enjoy.
I am willing to perform your ceremony anywhere in Victoria or
interstate.
Resource Material
You will receive a Wedding Ceremony Folder which contains lots of
ideas to assist you in the planning of your ceremony including readings,
vows, and the use of other symbols to express your love for each other.
(Celtic Hand fasting, candle ceremony, ring warming to name a few)
Interviews
I am very happy to come to your residence to conduct interviews and
plan your wedding ceremony. Alternatively, if it is more convenient you
may decide to come to me instead.
